THE OLD KINGDOM

Long ago there was a great kingdom at the center of the world. Its white walls gleamed in glory with their ever-watchful torches. Spires of elaborate architecture marked the most important structures, and could be seen from the horizon. The Monarch Castle, the Cathedral of Saint Ardus, the Academy of All Arts, the Grim Garden, the Marble Stronghold and the Grand Merchant Wing made up the thriving domain. This kingdom was sovereign, it had taken millennia to consolidate, and only one night to sink into disgrace. A single night of chaos, pain and screams that would forever change the records of the known world and the lives of survivors. Now what's left are only vague memories, unfounded rumors, vast treasures, imprisoned memories of a place that even the name is not remembered.
