VANGUARD OF THE UNKNOWN
Based on Searchers of the Unknown, with character mechanics expanded without creating complications, this game would be an Advanced Searchers of the Unknown.
This game, like my arts, was born out of our local game campaign that started with D&D 3.x, evolved into B/X and modern OSR games, and finally ended up in a simple and fast game, based on Searchers of the Unknown, but it did support campaigns and gives a certain characterization and personality among adventurers. The frugality of my arts and Pablo’s rules portrays and reinforces a world of low fantasy, scant magic and vicious monsters. I hope that with this complete game contained in a short pamphlet, more groups can enjoy amazing and challenging adventures as I and my table enjoy. And I hope that my arts will reinforce the mood of these simple and deadly rules.
